Get References
All good Janitorial Companies have a track record.  After you have decided upon a cleaning company, ask for references.  Then check them.

Check Employee Screening and E-Verify
The Employee's trustworthiness is much more important than the owner of the company.  All Employees should be E-verified.  Also ask about the Janitorial Honesty Bond that the company has.  They should be able to send you a certification from their Bond company.

Liability Insurance and More
Most companies carry $1,000,000 workers compensation and liability insurance.  The good companies carry $2,000,000 and more.  "Certs" can be easily emailed or faxed to you from all good companies.

Ask About Training & Supervision
Janitorial workers can be untrained and unskilled. There are many great, hardworking custodians, but most need Janitorial Training.  There are many good systematic training programs in many different languages, that good companies use to help hard workers be smart workers.  ASK ABOUT THE TRAINING PROGRAMS.
